Open Position:

Battery Technician

A Battery Technician is responsible for startups, certifications, preventative maintenance and scheduled maintenance for battery systems related to Uninterruptable Power Supply systems. Skills:

  • Technician must be reliable, organized and professional with solid customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team in various challenging situations
  • Able to work from schematic diagrams, sketches, and verbal instructions
  • Field Service experience a plus

Job Requirements:

  • Must be able to read and interpret electrical line diagrams and blueprints
    • Working knowledge of OHM’s law and electronic theory
    • Knowledge of basic AC/DC theory, electronic components, and electronic circuitry
    • Required hours are sometimes irregular requiring late/early business day and weekend work
    • Must be able to lift 50lb + lb. batteries
    • Ability to make basic site evaluation’s
    • Clean driving record a must
    • Elementary fix/repair techniques based on directed supervision
    • Capable of completing tasks and return unit to full operating conditions based upon directed supervision
    • Excellent working knowledge of electricity and the electro-chemical theory of batteries a plus
    • Strong Mechanical aptitude
